Openness – anyone from the volunteer sector is welcome to join the SVN
Equality – all members of SVN are equal, with responsibilities rotating among the members
OBJECTIVES
• To support volunteer workers
• To foster a strengths-based, collaborative approach to volunteering
• To facilitate networking and partnerships to improve delivery of volunteer programs
• To provide a forum for people working with volunteers to identify relevant issues and work in collaboration to address these issues through increased awareness, lobbying and advocacy
