WHAT’S ON IN SYDNEY WHAT’S ON IN SYDNEY
Buses, trains and ferries can get you everywhere you need to go in Sydney. Tickets are available from Transport Shops, these are conveniently located at Wynyard, Circular Quay, Town Hall and Railway Square (near Central) stations. They are also available from 7 Eleven, newsagents and Australia Post Shops.
Ferries
Much of Sydney Harbour’s ferries and boat operators (lunch cruises, whale watching and jet boats) operate from Circular Quay. You can reach Balmain, Manly and Watsons Bay (amongst other suburbs) by ferry.
Trains
There are numerous trainlines into the City and the main railway stations are Central, Town Hall and Wynyard. Use the railway map opposite to see which line you need. NSW TrainLink runs regular services to Newcastle, Woollongong and Katoomba (Blue Mountains), these are also on the Sydney network and are priced accordingly.
