• all teachers are using IT to create educational materials• trans-disciplinary approach to education• IT directs the learning process towards reality• it is a strategy based on active learning• an important role in the collaborative construction of teaching and learninig• positive effects by stimulating self-esteem• it offers the proper frame for the developing of the complex cognitive capacities

• The informatics labs are insufficient and at least one of them is outdated; the media and physics lab are well equipped but not enough for the 40 teachers willing to use them• It is hard to use active methods on groups of 30 students

• The students associate the computer with PC games and tend to treat them not seriously enough • Internet is an important means of information, but information is redundant sometimes and may generate chaos• Teachers may have the tendency to use ICT just for the sake of it, ignoring the need to use it combined with the traditional methods
