SWOT ANALYSIS
A. Strengths
One of the major priorities of the Aquino’s Administration is “balancing economic and social development with environmental protection.”
Strong environmental governance with focus on reversing environmental degradation and enable sustainable living.
Reduced corruption level (number 8th noon sa Pulse Asia Survey) Strengthened regulation and enforcement of policies
DENR’s implementation in pursuant to Executive Orders High ranking of the Philippines in the Environmental Performance Index
(EPI) of the World The Social Weather Stations (SWS) recently conducted a survey showing
that Filipinos believe that the Aquino administration is doing a good job of protecting the country’s environment.
