nicolas GarnierChief Executive Officer & Member of the Board

Nicolas Garnier, Chief Executive Officer of SDG, leads the company’s investments and real estate development. Mr. Garnier brings more than 20 years of experience in the development of major resorts in Switzerland, France, Asia, and North America. His experience in acquisitions, development, and construction is complemented by an in-depth knowledge of finance and hotel operations. Prior to joining SDG, Nicolas was Vice President of Intrawest Europe SA, where he pioneered the development of the multi-award winning resort of Arc 1950 (Savoy, France). Before this, as Director of Development at Pierre & Vacances SA, Paris, he was responsible for the acquisition and organization of resorts and residential projects throughout France, including Pont Royal in Provence, Cap Esterel, Deauville, Paris etc. He was also General Manager of Spie Batignolles, a building company in France. Mr. Garnier graduated from the Ecole d’Architecture des Beaux Arts in Paris before earning a M.Sc. from the University of Cincinnati in the United States. He is a citizen of both Switzerland and France.

marc GillieronAdministrator and Member of the Board

Marc Gillieron, a member of SDG’s Board of Directors, is a partner at the Swiss law firm Chabrier & Partners, where he specializes in international trade and finance. His recent experience includes advising a real estate development company on a 150 million (CHF) residential development in Switzerland and advising Swiss and foreign investors in the acquisition of a real estate portfolio with assets located in several countries. Mr. Gillieron trained at Ziegler Poncet & Grumbach, a Geneva-based law firm where he worked on numerous international litigations and arbitrations. A Swiss citizen, he graduated from the University of Geneva in 1998.

cesare cerritoChief Financial Officer

Before joining SDG in 2009 as CFO, Cesare Cerrito worked in the financial and investment banking industries for 10 years in London, Milan, and Geneva. As a Manager in Corporate Finance - Strategy Group for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Milan he supervised financial and strategic advisory services related to transactions, joint ventures, and IPOs in real estate, private equity, and several other industries. Mr. Cerrito graduated with a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi University in Milan and also holds a Bsc in Business Administration. A native speaker of Italian, Mr. Cerrito is also fluent in French and English.

lois vitry-trapmanDirector of Sales and Marketing

Lois Vitry-Trapman, who joined Swiss Development Group SA in 2009, promotes SDG’s real estate projects in Switzerland and abroad. Based in Geneva, Mrs. Vitry-Trapman brings significant experience in the marketing of culture and properties in Switzerland. Previously, as the leader of the Sales and Marketing force for real estate developer Le National de Montreux SA, she was responsible for sales of prestigious properties on the Swiss Riviera. Prior to that she worked for the Montreux Music and Convention Centre as Business Development Manager, implementing the sales strategy in select European markets. Mrs. Vitry-Trapman graduated from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland with a BSc in Hospitality Business, and also holds a degree in Interior Architecture from Atheneaum Lausanne. She holds dual citizenship in the United Kingdom and France, is bilingual in English and French, and proficient in German, Italian, and Spanish.

David GaymardDirector of Acquisitions

David Gaymard, who joined SDG in 2008, is responsible for many aspects of property acquisitions, operations, and residential sales, including due diligence, sales contracts, building permits, negotiations with hotel management companies, and sales contracts for clients. He was previously Director of Global Corporate Services for CBRE, a multi-national commercial real estate firm, where he handled tenant representation, provided valuation analyses for acquisitions and dispositions, and negotiated leasing terms. Mr. Gaymard earned a master’s degree in real estate, construction and town planning law from the University of Montesquieu Bordeaux IV in 2001, a master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Lausanne in 1996.

Du parc kempinski private residences

Purchased in 2008, Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences is a magnificent, historical building in Le Mont-Pèlerin, Chardonne in the canton of Vaud above Vevey, Switzerland. Located in a UNESCO World Heritage site at the heart of the famous Vaud Riviera, Hotel du Parc is surrounded by protected vineyards, easily accessible from most major Swiss cities, and just 80 kilometers from the international airport. Built in the Belle Epoque style of 1906, this seven-story building is being converted by SDG into 24 luxury residences that will enjoy full 5-star hotel services by Kempinski and concierge services by Quintessentially, the world’s leading luxury concierge. Common areas will include a 650 square meter private spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a bar and lounge area, a private cinema, a Davidoff cigar salon, a business centre, and a wine tasting cellar managed by Quintessentially. Individual residences will have advanced integrated technology by Crestron Electronics, and six members of staff dedicated to the residence. In 2009, Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences was awarded the CNBC International Property Award for Best Luxury Redevelopment in Switzerland and Europe. Du Parc is expected to welcome residents in 2012.

51° Spa residences

Located in Leukerbad, Switzerland, an Alpine town famous for its natural beauty and the Loèche les Bains thermal spring area, 51° Spa Residences will be a newly constructed residential and hospitality destination with 70 hotel apartments operated by a 5-star international hotel brand and 10 private luxury residences. It will be the only development to benefit from private in-home access to the thermal waters of the local springs. Designed in a contemporary yet traditional style, all residences will offer private spas supplied with water directly from the thermal springs and private balconies with outdoor fireplaces and individual pools. The property will feature a ski valet, fitness center, outdoor pools, a children’s playground, spa and wellness facilities, international restaurants and bars, luxury boutiques, and a wine cellar. SDG’s partners on 51° Spa Residences include Michael Graves and Associates (architecture), and Marc Michaels (interior design) as well as water features on the plaza designed by WET Design.

Swiss luxury village

Located in the 4 Vallées ski resort in the Swiss canton of Valais, Swiss Luxury Village will be a luxury planned 30,000 square meter ski resort village. This area, which is one of the most attractive touristic regions in the country, offers access to 400 kilometers of premier ski slopes. SDG’s development plans include a 5-star hotel with 120 rooms, an upscale 6-star boutique hotel with 35 rooms, 120 fully serviced apartments and penthouses, and 20 private Alpine chalets. Residents and guests will enjoy a range of luxury amenities, including spa & wellness facilities by an international SPA management company, private home cinema, private club lounge and residents club, a lounge bar and gourmet restaurants, a luxury retail shopping destination rivaling Rue St-Honoré, and ski-in / ski-out infrastructure.

High up in Switzerland’s Mischabel mountain chain in Saas-Fee, a village that sits below Switzerland’s highest mountain, the Dom, SDG is developing three chalets that will have access to 145 kilometers of premier ski slopes. The chalets will feature design inspired by architect Foster & Partners as well as the typology of the traditional Swiss chalet. Each one will offer contemporary finishes. Saas-Fee, which embraces progressive environmental stewardship principles, is a completely pedestrian village with shopping, trendy restaurants, bars and clubs.

n° 10, Geneva

SDG is redeveloping an existing 4-story classical building on in the heart of Geneva, close to the Russian Orthodox Church and the Italian embassy. In partnership with internationally renowned designers the interior will be transformed into a large duplex on the top floor and one apartment on each of the lower floors, all of which will have a gracious, modern, Belgravia style. Amenities will include a leading concierge, spa and fitness facilities, and an elegant reception area. Owners, through their Rockefeller Living Membership, will also have the luxury car and the yacht moored in the port of Geneva at their disposition. As the most exclusive project in the history of Geneva, N° 10, will showcase the uniqueness of SDG’s projects.

As part of a public-private partnership, SDG is planning to submit a project for an existing site on the banks of Lake Geneva. This area is very popular

with local citizens, and is close to the water-jet and La Nautique marina. Upon completion, it will become a mixed-use development that will offer a boutique

hotel, a spa, wellness and fitness facilities, public changing rooms, a food court, and leisure activities, including cinemas, arcades, and sport activities.

in 2011 Swiss Development Group launched rockefeller living, an exclusive club open only to the owners of residences at select SDG properties, through which members receive a comprehensive array of luxury lifestyle amenities and services.

Members enjoy these benefits not only at the property where they own a residence, but also across all Rockefeller Living properties. In addition to a very high staff-to-resident ratio and expert concierge services, every property offers the use of luxury vehicles ideally suited to the social and recreational opportunities of the local area. Each Rockefeller Living property has been designed with a unique selection of exceptional amenities including spa and fitness facilities, wine cellars, restaurants, and retail boutiques, some of which are only accessible to members. Agreements with many of the finest sport and recreational clubs, restaurants, and retailers located near each Rockefeller Living property entitle Rockefeller Living members to discounts and other privileges. SDG retains ownership of certain residences at each property and makes them available exclusively to Rockefeller Living members who wish to spend time at a property other than the one at which they have purchased a residence. Rockefeller Living is currently offered at DuParc and 51° Spa Residences.
