Nike Savvas“Liberty And Anarchy”

Nike Savvas is an Australian artist and her exhibition reflects on her skills of using mathematics with a geometric form of using wood. The exhibiton feature 18 large screens of ribbon attatched to wood. The ribbon and the wood has been crafted to “mathematical precision”. Savvas is to say that the idea of the exhibition is for visitors to “immerse themselves, in colour, movement and depth”. Personally I really like Liberty and Anarchy as the precision and perfection put in to it is truely amazing and inspiring to installation artists. I also like the fact that the wool reminds me of Spirographs in the pictures below!

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.

This is my own hand rendered illustration using a small branch, green ink and purple acrylic paint to create a scribble effect.

On the left is an example with clothing, this we could use for inspiration for a basic body template.
