Happy Birthday Wishes to the Following members

A Few Words From Our President

Thanks everyone for coming each Sunday

to have another fun day dancing with all

your friends and staying cool in this crazy

weather. Boy – our music has been great,

our floor is full, and we cannot ask for a

better way to spend our afternoon. We got 7

new members this month– yeh!! Lloyd

Lickert and his daughter Renia taught some

great beginner classes , and Robert & Vicki

Palladino’s workshop gave us some new

intermediate patterns to work on.

We had a good turnout on TEE SHIRT day. We had funny,

crazy , pretty and different shirts. Prizes went to Risa Goldberg,

most original, Effie Belden, prettiest and Frank Taylor, funniest!

Thanks to all of you who signed the birthday cards for our oldest

member, JACK SIGLER who turned 93 on Aug.27th and lives in

Georgia. He received over 50 cards. He misses us and our cards

made him “Very Happy”.

September 18th Wear your favorite Hawaiian clothes and come

to our Luau and watch a group of young and very talented Hula

dancers put on a show for you all to enjoy.

Keep dancing – See you at the club

Thanks to Robert and Vicki Palladino for teaching an advanced workshop on August 28th.

Lloyd Lickert

was our instructor during the month of August. Helping him

out was his daughter Reina

Please be sure to express your appreciation

for the music we dance to every week. Jim

Gibson and Vicki Palladino put in a lot of

effort to provide us with the many songs

needed for our dancing pleasure.

Condolences to one of our long time club members, Una Morgan, on the passing of her husband James.
