Gestural. These were some of my favorites to draw. My illustration background came in handy when it came time to put my drawing skills into action.

It was time to forget about the amount of drawings

I had left to do and allow myself to have some fun.

People gave me many funny looks when they watched me shove leaves, grass,

string, plastic, ribbons, and even tissues into the scanner. I used the interesting

paper results to cut out these beautiful hummingbirds.
