VW: Pay By PiecePay By Piece created an innovative new transactional model for young people buying their first car that compares car parts (right front door) to the price they would pay for a product on Amazon (a Kindle). These interactive and social experiences allow family & friends to participate by tagging themselves on parts of the car on Facebook and paying for them as presents. The young purchasers can also determine how much to pay each month based on the remaining unpaid parts. The work was recognized by award shows including Young Guns, Future Lions, NY Festival and Great Wall China.

Keep The Meter RunningHomeless Youth Alliance

Keep the Meter Running was a big idea that created awareness for a homeless youth shelter that lost 1/3 of its funding earlier in the year. With only $108 in quarters, a bed and a parking space, $43,000 was raised in one week, along with the attention of national news channels and online news outlets. Although there were no clear cut categories to enter the work into at the awards competitions, Keep the Meter Running won ANDY Best of Show, ADDY Best of Show, BEES Best of Show, CLIO Gold, ADC Gold and Great Wall China Gold. Bennett now works at Goodby Silverstein & Partners.

Within one week’s time, the Miami Ad School mobilized 30 teams from all of its global locations and delivered the solutions to the client. UNICEF liked the winning team’s idea so much they produced it. You can find this application on Facebook.
