SWAMP MOVEMENT ESTILL HIGH SCHOOL NEWS
GATOR VOICE, SAY WHAT?……
“My boyfriend doesn’t trust me and he has
no reason not to. What should I do?”
-From Trust Issues
You should talk things out. Explain to him
how you feel about the issue, understand
where he is coming from and both work
together to find a solution, learn how to
gain his trust.
“I have low self-esteem. Any advice on
how to bring my self-esteem up?”
- From Ms. Insecure
On a paper, write out all the positive things
about yourself. Write about the things that
make you who you are today. Focus and
observe all the good in yourself, then think
about ways of how you can improve what
you don’t like about yourself. Set goals and
work hard towards them. We all have flaws
and nobody is perfect.
WHAT ARE THE GATORS UP TO IN THE SWAMP?
“FROM THE DESK OF OUR PRINCIPAL”
Welcome to Estill High School and the 2013-14 school year.
We continue to work diligently every day to create a school environment where
all students can excel and reach their potential. We believe every student is
unique, special, and talented and we strive to instill a sense of pride, community,
and ownership in everything we do. Our staff believes that students learn best in
a caring, positive, and professional environment where teachers have high
expectations in the classroom and students develop ownership for their own
education. Communication is vital for student and school success. We encourage
parents and students to contact teachers, administrators, and counselors if
they have questions, comments, or concerns. By working together we can
provide the very best educational opportunity for students. Parents, we
encourage you to participate in our SIC and PTA meetings. These meetings give
parents an opportunity to ask questions and get information on a variety of school
topics. Again, welcome, and I hope you have a great year at Estill High
School.
