ECONOMICTALKINGPOINTS Industrial outlook positive in
2017, according to CoStar
• CoStar reports that fundamentals in the industrial sector point to a positive 2017 in terms of absorption and rent growth: e-commerce distribution to be a leading
• Overall, the trends that propelled industrial in 2016 should continue at even a stronger pace due to faster GDP growth expected in 2017. Further, if infrastructure spending does in fact increase, this could boost markets previously less affected by trade and distribution gains.

ECONOMICTALKINGPOINTS
• CoStar reports that 2016 will likely be another record year for multifamily investment sales and prices are continuing to grow, but that 2017 is more likely to see moderation in both the price and volume fronts given the high prices achieved thus far.
• Further, slowing rent growth and fears of hyper supply in some markets are more real than in prior years and thus investors are expected to take heed.
CoStar predicts that multifamily assets will trade less in 2017, and price growth will slow or even moderate slightly.
