Suzanne Stromberg Letter of Recommendation

Downtown Campus Denver, Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Aurora, Colorado To Whom It May Concern: I wish to enthusiastically recommend Ms. Sarah Rumple for employment with your organization. To begin, let me illustrate Sarah’s strengths by relaying a recent conversation I had with a colleague: I mentioned Ms. Rumple to him, and shared that my only frustration with her is that I have trouble finding anything to critique in her work. She was pulling a 100% average in my class, which is incredibly rare. My colleague responded, “Oh, that’s nothing…I’ve had her in 3 classes, and she has earned 100% in every class.” This is absolutely unprecedented, and we both agreed that she is one of the smartest students to come through our program in a very long time. I first met Sarah when she enrolled in an internship through our program, with a placement at the Environmental Protection Agency. In this role, she immediately proved herself to be an invaluable asset to their team, and ultimately edited reams and reams of documents, and assisted with major writing and research projects. Last fall, Ms. Rumple completed my Senior Seminar class, and produced a fantastic online portfolio, which helped her land a very competitive internship with 5280 Magazine. In fact, her portfolio is so outstanding that it is now used as a model in my courses, and was also showcased at a recent academic conference. Additionally, as part of the Senior Seminar course, she partnered with Denver Street Soccer for a service project, and helped write marketing and promotions materials. I received very positive feedback about her work from the community partner. Sarah also promoted the organization to the class, ultimately recruiting a classmate for a future project with the organization. Sarah is just the full package: she’s bright, she’s ambitious, and she’s interested in using her abilities to impact not only the professional world, but her community as well. I have no doubt that we will count Sarah amongst our most distinguished graduates. Thank you for considering her application. I am more than enthusiastic in making this recommendation, and believe very strongly that she will be an impressive asset to any organization. Best, Suzanne F.
