•Nearly 100% of the wood fiber used in the production of Loewen products is derived from forestlands certified by the CSA, SFI and

FSC

•Loewen heats its manufacturing plant in frigid Manitoba winters using wood cut-offs and sawdust

•Wood chips made from other-

wise unusable lumber are sold to

farmers for use as animal bedding

•Nearly 100% of all aluminum, glass

and wood is used or recycled in the
