Expo Team Experience

Dr. Gustavo Gaviria-Angel served as Ambassador on Special Mission for Colombia and Commissioner General of the Colombia Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo 2010. Dr. Gaviria was Senior Advisor in the Executive Director’s office at the World Bank, Department of Institutional Integrity from1999to2004.Dr.Gaviriaworkedsince1974inthecoffeeand finance industries in Colombia and is a third generation agriculturalist in the coffee industry of Colombia.

Juan Pablo Cavelier is the lead contact with Expo Milano 2015 officials. He served as Deputy Commissioner General of the Colombia Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010, responsible for all relations with Expo Officials and all other pavilions in the American and European sections of Expo Shanghai. Mr. Cavelier has a strong back-ground in global consumer marketing, international trade and agriculture.

Ralph I. Miller has produced and managed large-scale shows, theme parks and installations around the world for30years.Majorshowsinclude:2008OlympicsinBeijingandShanghaiExpo2010.Mr.Millerhasproducedand managed the media, architecture and style as lead designer for the Coca-Cola Pavilion and consultant to several other pavilions at Shanghai Expo 2010, while serving as Pavilion Director and Executive Producer for the Colombia Pavilion.

Cynthia H. Barbera is an international marketing and communications executive, with extensive experience in broadcast, cable and new media. She served as Vice-President Communications and Technology for Scholastic, Inc. a leading publisher for education. Ms. Barbera is an Emmy award-winning television producer, renowned for her work on programs focusing on the issues of environment, health and education. Most recently, Ms. Barbera was involved in development of Shanghai Expo 2010.

Peter B. Lewis Peterisanexperiencedesignerwithover40yearsexperience.AscreativeconsultanttoNIKEhe worked on design of visitor experiences at the Olympics in Atlanta and World Cup in Paris. Peter’s work also includes development of the experience design for the Colombia National Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010, corporate pavilions for both Coca-Cola Co. and adidas at the Beijing Olympics. Peter is also a composer, published author and chief storyteller for SFP.
