CIPORE TESTIMONIAL OF THE QUARTER

“The Physics Department, the University of the West Indies, offers a major in Alternative

Energy concentrating on Solar, Wind and Hydropower and

Integrating Alternative Energy (into energy systems). The

Caribbean Information Platform on Renewable Energy (CIPORE) is a valuable resource and students

in the Solar Power Course are required to report on articles read

on the CIPORE platform. This exercise serves the dual function of introducing them to CIPORE and extending their knowledge

of Renewable Energy outside the domain of the classroom.

Please keep up the good work.”
