Hospitality and catering is a truly international industry providing countless job opportunities at home and abroad. The sector – consisting of all types of establishment providing food, drink or accommodation – has grown significantly over the past decade and is currently crying out for qualified staff.

This course will teach you essential skills for professional cookery in areas including health, safety and hygiene. It introduces the principles, skills and techniques required by people who work in the hospitality and catering industry.

Do you want to become a barista or gain a qualification that recognises your skills? You’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to prepare and serve hot and cold drinks in multiple settings. In order to practise making drinks in your own time, we suggest that you have access to an espresso machine.

Coast Training Restaurant is a formal dining restaurant open to the public and staffed by ourstudents. We cater for special event functions, individual reservations and, during the warmer months,

offer a more casual style of dining on our glorious balcony.
