What was the research problem?

• The survey was conducted in order to understand the consumer behaviour and preferences of Diabetic patients in general along with the variations among Type-1 & Type-2 Diabetics.

• A part of the survey also focused on the common symptoms, vaccination types and challenges faced in the treatment of Diabetics sufferers which would eventually help in understanding the disease and producing better drugs and vaccines.

What were the challenges?

• Considering that we have recently launched our Health & Wellness panels and it is in its nascent stage, it was quite difficult to predict the response rate and incidence rate.

• In addition, there were strict quotas on Type of Diabetics – Diabetics 1 & Diabetics 2 plus quotas on Insulin Users and Non-Users. It was difficult to manage these quotas during the later stages of the study as these quotas were mostly non-targetable which slowed down the progress drastically.

How did Borderless Access solve the problem?

Apart from targeting the diabetic patients, the older age groups were targeted as they were more likely to be suffering from or prone to diabetes as compared to the younger audience.

ChinaBrazil

Although we had some Diabetic patients profiled in our China & Brazil panels, the response from the healthcare segment was low.

Pre-screening the respondents for Diabetes criteria boosted the progress and fetched good number of completes.
