In this survey monkey result it connotes that there are 60% more males than females, I can link this with my magazine of inspiration as more males read ‘Kerrang!’ than females. This will be helpful when creating my magazine as I know to ad conventions which attract males to reading it than females, as the largest audience of readers are males.

In this question off my survey monkey conveys that 80% of the people who answered my question are in the age bracket of 15-21. This is similar to ‘Kerrang!’ as the age group with the most readers is 15-24, with this information I will now know what age group I am most likely presenting my magazine to.

In this survey monkey result I found that more people are interested in bright standing out colours more than black and white, and no one was interested I dull colours. I now know which type of colours to use when creating my main task.

With this result I now have a idea of what prices readers are willing to pay for a magazine. Also I now have a strong idea of what price to set my magazine at so that I can maximise the amount of people buying my magazine. I shall set my price at £1.99.

With this result I found out what genres of music people would read magazines of. Most genres are equal but indie music got the most votes; as my magazine of inspiration is rock I shall base my magazine genre on rock and I will possibly add a few things about indie rock in the magazine as people are after information on indie rock too.

In this question from my survey monkey I asked what names would suit a rock music magazine most, ‘Hear & Now!’ is the most popular, but I don’t think I will use it as I have other ideas, but I will use ‘Hear & Now!’ as inspiration for a name. Other ideas I may use are ‘UNDISCOVERD’ I may possibly use this as it grabs the reader suggesting the magazine contains newly discovered information.

With this result I found that most people will want informal text in their magazine. I will use informal text as it is more exciting for the reader, also making it simple for the reader to read as text will be in a simple form.

In my survey monkey questionnaire I found out that people are either bothered by non-related music adverts or just doesn’t bother them at all. As people are just bot bothered by what the advert is and some people are, I think I will just include music related adverts to maximise the attraction for readers.

This result is clear: Everybody who answered the questionnaire would like to enjoy personal interviews with artists. There for I will include personal interviews to reach the readers needs and expectations.

This Survey Monkey result clearly connotes that exclusive information is the feature readers would like to encounter most. I will include excusive information as it was the most popular, but I will also try and add the chance to meet a artist, and information about specific artists as they were also features that are wanted to be seen in a magazine.
