Thiswas the final season for theEpsomLittle League so it iswith some sadness thatwe submit this report. TheELLoriginated in 1988/9 when Julie Drury and Josie Ridley set up an informal league to provide training and playingopportunities for juniors (U12/13/14) in Surrey. It developed into the ELL around 1994/5 and Edith Skelton, PaulineDaviesandOxshottNCtookoverresponsibilityforrunningit-ajobtheydidbrilliantlyuntilEdithretiredlastseasonandWeyValleytookovertheChairforaone-yeartenure.Andwhatayearithasturnedouttobe!!!Wefacedsomechallengeswithvenuesandstorms,onlyfortheseasontobecutshortbythemuchlargerCOVIDcrisis.ItwasdecidedattheAGMtoawardmedalsbasedonresultsaftertwotournamentswhenall teamshadplayedeachother and before the teamswere streamed into A and B divisions. Our congratulations go to RichmondRaverswhoachievedacleansweepinallthreeAdivisions.TheBdivisionswerewonbyCardinals,WeyValleyBandDownsA/Tiffin(jointwinners).
