Surgical Gloves Surgical gloves are, without doubt, the main measure of protection in health. Its use is required to avoid problems that can arise when contacting the hands of health personnel, with body fluids, chemicals or sick patients. However they are only one measure of protection for professionals, but also for the patients, since the use of gloves prevents the penetration of microorganisms that are present in the hands of health personnel, avoiding any possible spread of practitioner to patient and vice versa. Surgical gloves are gloves, sterile , disposable , with a mitigating effect of the puncture and act as a barrier against infectious or toxic agents.
