• The finished ceiling height is the most important factor when selecting the correct LED downlight for any given project. Superlight LED Downlights each have a ceiling height guide which makes it easy to deter-mine which fittings are best used for each application.
• Lighting layout – have a plan. It is important to have the correct layout lighting design to ensure uniform illumination in all rooms. Beam angle is also important, 60-degree beam angle is the optimum beam angle for general lighting applications.

• Superlight LED downlights incorporate the highest quality LED light sources which typically produce 85-100 lumens per watt. Lumens data does not on its own describe how effective a LED downlight actually performs or how well is distributes light to an area. A range of factors such as fixture design, beam spread, lens technology are much more important.
• Use a professional installer to get the best results. Superlight LED products are usually easy to install and in many cases operate on safe low-voltages; however we always strongly recommend that any lighting installations or electrical work should be carried out by a suitably licensed electrical contractor.
• Not all electricians carry out good quality work, so make sure your installer has sufficient experience installing high quality lighting products.

• Superlight surface mounted LED Downlights are ideal when a recessed option cannot be used, e.g. existing concrete slab or exposed ceiling. We have a wide range including dimmable options for any project.
• Trim Colour & Finishes – any colour available. Superlight LED downlight are available in different trim colours, including personalised colours and refinishing options. Remember recessed LED downlights work best when they blend in with the ceiling colour to provide a discrete installation.
• Colour Temperature Superlight LED Downlights are available in CCT options from 2700-6500K. Warm white downlights are typically used in residential projects, whilst cool white or neutral white fittings are typically used in commercial projects
