Review alerts in HCSIS for considerations submitted by the IMT (Independent Monitoring Team)
Communicate consideration with the appropriate team member but not limited to the following: consumer, family, and provider
Respond to consideration in HCSIS within 45 days Upon the request of the AE, revise consideration in
HCSIS HCSIS will send alerts every 10 days for
consideration that need to be addressed

Consideration : Consumer stated he wants to be a school teacher.
Consideration response: The consumer does not have the ability to be a school teacher.
The supports coordinator needs to “think outside the box” and be creative in approaching considerations.
Also, if the consideration phrase begins with “Consumer stated” the supports coordinator must state in the considerations response that the consideration was discussed with the consumer.
