Stockport CP is a key provider of tailored support to adults, young people and children and adults living with disabilities within Stockport and surrounding areas. We work closely with service users and their parents/carers to offer a range of activities designed to maintain and improve individual’s quality of life by broadening experiences and developing networks in their local and surrounding area. We now have an opportunity for a skilled Social Media practitioner to join us on a part-time basis. The opportunity could suit a student studying digital marketing or communications or an experienced freelancer with skills and experience in managing social media presence for an organisation, group or voluntary body on mainstream platforms Duties would include: Maintain a vibrant, consistent and managed social media presence for the Society using social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In. Management of content changes on the Society’s external and internal websites as and when required. Source and schedule topical and engaging content (from internal and external sources) that will enlighten audiences and promote Society activities Liaise with internal staff including Fundraising team to generate content relating to society Fundraising activities.
