The NCC Gridiron Club is a restricted fund benefitting Vanderbilt Football. The membership year is active from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. NCC Gridiron Club members are also National Commodore Club members and receive NCC priority credit. However, a separate gift to the NCC annual fund is necessary for priority seating and parking benefits.

If I make a gift to the NCC Gridiron Club, will I be recognized as a National Commodore Club member? Yes. All donors to any area of Vanderbilt Athletics are recognized as NCC members.

Will my gift to the NCC Gridiron Club apply toward my National Commodore Club benefits? No. You will receive NCC priority points, but you must make a separate gift to the NCC annual fund for priority seating and parking benefits.

Will my gift to the NCC Gridiron Club be a restricted or unrestricted gift? A gift made directly to a sport’s program is restricted. By giving directly to the NCC Gridiron Club, you provide funds for football projects outside of their operating budget.

The NCC Gridiron Club is the best way for you to support the Vanderbilt Football program. By making a gift, you provide opportunities for our student-athletes to achieve on the field, in the classroom and in the community. Gridiron funds are used for special projects and facility enhancements that fall outside of the current operating budget. When you give, you directly impact Vanderbilt Football.

The support of Gridiron members allows Vanderbilt Football to remain competitive in the ever-changing landscape of college football. We recently updated our practice facility with a new turf field and completed improvements to our weight room.

By making a gift, you also provide opportunities for our student-athletes to enjoy well-rounded collegiate experiences. In addition to practicing on the gridiron and pursuing academic excellence, our student-athletes are also active in the community. In 2016, the Vanderbilt football team made a difference in the community by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Second Harvest Food Bank, local schools and hospitals, and many more organizations.
