That's whywe have developed the Swift® UltraSlide System, a cost-effective, low-friction repositioning system intended to allowcaregivers to safely and easily perform handling tasks with little physical strain. Implementing the standard use of thisrepositioner will create a safer healthcare environment for caregivers, ensure the comfort and security of patients/residents,and assist in supporting no-lift policies. The UltraSlide® Bottom Sheet is designed using MIP's patented Smart Sheet designwith a low-friction panel down the centre, to be used together with Swift. UltraSlide should be used when patients/residentshave little or no mobility and require extensive or total assistance for repositioning in bed.

To ensure optimum results for repositioning a patient/resident we recommend using the UltraSlide® Bottom Sheet inconjunction with the Swift slider.

There are two alternative securingmethods available to retain the evacuation sheet under the mattress 1. Velcro straps that secure the sheet to the bed frame.2. Elastic straps that loop around each end of the mattress. In the event of soiling the evacuation sheet can easily be removedfor laundering.

Safetex is a re-usable, self-opening laundry bag, designed for the collection of heavily soiled and infected linen. Safetex hasunique welded seams to ensure the bag is totally fluid and odour proof. Once the Safetex bag is safely inside the washingmachine the bag naturally opens. The natural opening minimises manipulation of the bag and prevents exposure of staff tothe infectious linen prior to decontamination as per 5.31 of the Dept of Health CFPP, Decontamination of Linen for Healthand Social Care: Management and Provision Document. Safetex bags are environmentally friendly and a cost-effectivealternative to single use disposable red bags, with a lifespan that can withstand multiple processings.
