New Business Manager
Mary-Jo Sierakowski 8 years with the Orange Public Schools Business Administration Masters Program, UNH Managed personnel functions for Certified and Non-Certified
staff Managed a $12 million annual payroll, including all
accounting, federal and state reporting requirements. Followed legislation for and managed 25 FMLAs annually Held essential role in the development of the operating
budget Managed Unemployment, Workers Compensation, OSHA
compliance and reporting Experienced in our Phoenix software and other utilities
8:00 – 10:00 – Grades K – 310:30 – 12:30 – Grades 4 and 5
Regular Education: 100 Tier 2 and Tier 3 students Language Arts and Math
Special Education 45 students, including pre-K

Attendance has been better than expected Students actively engaged in small groups Pre-school garden in the courtyard used as a
quasi-outdoor classroom by some of the teachers
The students are keeping journals of their observations and tracking the growth of the plants using measurement skills, etc.

“Thank you for making the summer program so much fun for the kids -- my daughter is loving it!I would like to include an extra week 7/21-7/24 if I could. I did not originally sign her up for that week but she is doing so well we would like to continue!”

Closed out our first year with TEVAL Reported to the State on June 30th as
required 4-point rating scale We reported on 97 teachers and
administrators Only 5 individuals were incomplete, all due
to medical leaves-of-absence So successful -- considering adding 21st
Century, Central Office and Paraprofessionals to the TalentEd system.

Roof work at Peck beginning this week Peck waiting on the delivery of univents and
cabinetry, expected August 3 – 15th Installation of the security cameras at all the
schools Contracts have been awarded for: Concrete work Support beams at Turkey Hill Flooring for the ramp at RB
Old boilers are out at TH and RB Awaiting delivery of boilers and univents

Asbestos abatement project July 21, 2014 – August 4, 2014 Building and grounds of Race Brook School
are closed to visitors No children under 18 are permitted on the
premises At the end of the abatement, Facilities
Support Services (FSS) will test before anyone can reenter
