PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Superintendent 1998 – 2015 FLUOR CORPORATION | Dallas, TX A global engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), maintenance, and project management company.

Directed maintenance projects for power generating stations owned by key client Luminant. Provided technical direction, including estimation of outage resources, on a fleet of 53 large steam and combustion turbines, generators, and valves in a wide variety of frame and building block sizes. Supervised project teams ranging in size from 10 to 60 people.

Successfully performed a major overhaul of a 550MW Allis Chalmers HP/IP turbine.

On two separate occasions in 2015, worked around the clock to resolve issues with control valves at Luminant facilities that would not close and threatened to shut their respective generators down. Dedication to fixing the problem averted downtime costs of $100,000 per day.

Maintained turbines and generators on behalf of Keystone clients, including provision of quality assurance, quality control, and technical direction. Recruited, hired, scheduled, and trained project crews numbering 30 to 40 people and coordinated maintenance and inspection projects.

Refurbished a 1951 DeLaval turbine-driven blast furnace blower that consisted of a 16-stage impulse turbine and 5-stage blower.

Successfully overhauled a 500 MW GE G2 turbine.
