You can use the survey questionnaire as it is designed, or you can customize specific questions or add new topic areas. A convenient library As part of your vendor assessment, you may want to request copies of your vendor’s continuity plan, testing schedule, internal policies, or other documents. Rather than waiting for hard copies of these documents — which would then have to be filed in a physical location — vendors can attach documents directly to the survey. When the survey is closed, the documents are included in the documents library: available for ready access by all users at any location.

An integrated solutionIt can be difficult to keep vendor information up to date in a business continuity plan. Typically, an organization’s vendor process involves more than one department, and vendor information is often maintained in more than one place. But with Vendor Assessment, you can establish an annual vendor assessment refresh policy. Your vendor information can then be reviewed and updated directly by the vendor.
