Nursery/childcare is available for children up to age 2 and is located on Level 2 just beyond the Chapel.

Today’s Sunday School: Today we begin our 2016-2017 Sunday school year! Children ages 3 yrs – 4 ½ yrs will go to room 202. Children ages 4 ½ - Kindergarten will go to room 203 following the Children’s Conversation with Pastor Scott. All 3 years – kindergarten children MUST be signed in and out of their classrooms by a parent/guardian. 1st & 2nd graders will go to the Chapel. 3rd & 4th graders will go to room 603. 1st – 4th graders will be escorted by a teacher to their classroom after the Conversation with the Children but a parent/guardian must sign them out of the classroom following the worship service. The 5th and 6th graders will report to room 604 after the Conversation with the Children and will meet their families after the worship service. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO JOIN A SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS. SEE MISS JAN IN THE WEST ENTRANCE TO FILL OUT A REGISTRATION FORM IF YOU HAVE NOT FILLED ONE OUT. Thank you!

Pads-Still Lots of Openings for Food and Volunteers in October: I need volunteers for almost every shift during this month. For this coming Monday(Oct. 3), I need 2 individuals - one for 6-8:30pm and one for 3-7am(Tuesday early morning). I still need lots of food-particularly salads and desserts. Calling all readers: October's book club selection is "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte. Please join us on Wednesday, October 5 at 6:30 pm in the Chapel as we convene to discuss this classic novel. You can get a copy of the book from the Downers Grove Public Library - ask for the First Congregational Book Club selection at the check out desk. You do not have to be a regular member to join us! Bible Study with Pastor Scott: This fall we will have a Jesus 101 class- which is part Bible Study part lecture about the life of Jesus. Look forward to a great time as you are trying to learn more about the basics of Christianity each Tuesday from 7:00 pm -8:30 pm in the music room now through November 22nd.

New Fellowship Opportunity - Monthly Lunch Bunch: Join us for this new fellowship event. The Lunch Bunch will meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:30 am at Papa Passero's, 6326 S. Cass Ave, Westmont. The first lunch will be on November 2. This is a fellowship only event, no programs. Come and leave as you need to. All ages welcome.
