What a wondrous blessing each and every day from God is. We are truly a blessed people of our Creator! Furthermore, what a wonderful Lord’s Day we had together this past Sunday. The weather was beautiful and most of our family was present to worship God. I know many of you were ready to get out of the house and to be back with your church family. All the cold and crazy weather for the past several weeks has made it really hard for people to make it to services. Anyway, it is a great blessing for things to be back to normal and it sure was a great blessing for us all to be together on this past Lord’s day. It was also a great day because Leon, Marcella and Dylon came back home to us. We love and appreciate this family so much and we are glad they are a part of the church here at K. E. I know everyone will want to give them a big hug and welcome them back to our family. It was also a wonderful day because we had two individuals become new Christians. We want to welcome Teresa Pridgen who desired to obey her Lord and to confess His name, repent of her sins and to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Teresa has been visiting with us for months now and we praise God that she desires to be a part of our family here, that we can serve God together in spirit and truth! We also rejoice in the obedience to God’s Will of Teresa’s daughter, Amanda Pridgen. Amanda is a fine young teenage girl who wanted to be baptized to complete her obedience to God’s Perfect Will. I know we will want to welcome her as well. Brethren, let’s make Teresa and Amanda feel welcome and let’s encourage them to grow in Christ in order to become the children of God they desire! Oh, what a blessing it is to have a new family with us to encourage, as well as to be encouraged by. Sunday was also an enjoyable day as we had our first Agape meal of the year. We had a great turnout from groups 1 & 2. It was wonderful to have fellowship with one another, as well as to share this meal with many visitors. What a blessing such times are as children of God. Well, I hope to see each of you in worship this coming Sunday. There is no greater place we can be than with our beloved family of God, before the glorious throne of our loving God! Remember brethren, always put God first in all things and you will never regret it. May God bless us all as we strive to do His complete Will! Ray Sullins

The church is not made up of people who believethey are better than others, but rather it is made up of thosewho realize that they should be better than they are andmust continually strive to do better always.

The church is not made up of perfect people, butpeople who realize they are following a perfect Lord and aperfect law and therefore must do the very best they can.

The church is not made up of people who nevermake mistakes, but those who often acknowledge theirmistakes and then forsake them. Never must we seek tojustify them or continually make the same mistakes over andover again.

The church is not trying to withdraw from everyonebut rather to draw everyone into its fellowship and love whoare willing to walk in the light where God the Father andChrist the Son are found.

The church is not trying to set up arbitrary rules tohinder anyone but rather to show the rule of Christ whichhelps everyone.

The church is not trying to take the joy our to life, but rather is trying to put real joy into every life it touches.

The church is not trying to make you feel ugly, butrather it is trying to instill the beauty of holiness in your life.

The church is not trying to become the master ofyour life, but trying to get you to master yourself.

The church is not trying to rob your life priorities, but rather trying to get you to put the priorities in your life.

The church is not trying to separate you from yourmoney, but rather is trying to keep your money fromseparating you from God. ~Borrowed
