preneur, Publisher and TV personal-ity, is the founder and chairman of the prestigious an-nual International Reggae and World Music Awards

(IRAWMA), which is produced by Martin’s International and Associ-ates, LLC. Ephraim is the 2006 recipient of the prestigious Black Heritage Image Award; He was named among the top ten “People who Rock Chicago” by New City weekly newspaper; and was hon-ored among the top fifteen Afri-can-American “Men Who Lead” by Afrique Magazine.

At the request of the people of New York and members of the business and entertainment communities- the 29th INTERNA-TIONAL REGGAE AND WORLD MUSIC AWARDS (IRAWMA) will again be held in New York City, Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 This will be the seventh consecutive year that New York has been the host city for this outstanding awards ceremony. As the world’s largest city, New York opens its welcom-ing arms to the Reggae and World Music industry, to gather and give accolades to the finest multicul-

tural performers from all corners of the globe. This is an untapped industry with an estimated 2.1 billion fans worldwide, which is very good audience for business corporations.

The mission of the International Reggae and World Music Awards, established in 1982, is to acknowl-edge and honor the accomplish-ments and contributions of the artists in the categories of reggae and world music. Furthermore, its mission is to provide a forum for songwriters, performers and musi-cians recognizing them for their artistic efforts and achievements. The impetus behind the awards is a commitment to promote greater participation and acceptance of Reggae, Caribbean and World Music, internationally.

IRAWMA brings together the best and the most talented in world music. The “made for television” event ‘harmonizes’ the industry’s most prominent world entertainers from across the globe and recog-nizes their accomplishments in some 40 Reggae and World Music categories. Prior to the event, throughout the event and post event, the sponsors, contributors and supporters will be recognized and awarded for their contribu-tions to Reggae and World Music.

IRAWMA’s list of award winners includes the biggest and brightest stars in the world music industry, plus those outside of the genre, who were given Special Awards. major reggae and world music websites and seek placement of our event on all major calendar of events for reggae related activities. Surfing prospects will be able to view our website from
