PARISH SAFEGUARDING REPRESENTATIVES
Due to the nature of our parish, we have an URGENT NEED of building a
team of Parish Safeguarding Representatives (PSRs). The role of a Parish
Safeguarding Representative (PSR) is a very important one because it
ensures the safety of the parish community members especially children
and vulnerable adults. The protection of our children and vulnerable
adults is a mission that is entrusted to us as a parish community. It is a
mission that should be carried out judiciously. In fact, it is a moral
imperative for us as a parish community. In the light of the foregoing, we
will like to APPEAL FOR VOLUNTEERS who would perform this SPECIAL
ROLE as our Parish Safeguarding Representatives. If you are interested in
this role, kindly forward your contact details (name, phone number, email
address and contact address) to the PARISH PRIEST. The email address of
the Parish Priest is contained in the parish newsletter. Additional
information concerning the role of a Parish Safeguarding Representative
(PSR) will be provided to the candidates who indicate interest. We appeal
to you to give this request a PRIORITY CONSIDERATION AND ACTION. We
look forward to welcoming any Volunteer or Volunteers to this role.
Thank you so much. God bless. Fr Austin.
