SUN MICROSYSTEMS

An industry-changing company that forged many of the technology-standards now commonplace to

enterprise businesses and has influenced how the Internet is run today.

SUNWORLD for its inaugural year, was held at Moscone Center, San Francisco and over the years, had proven

to be an important industry annual event.

We developed and implemented the strategic graphic approach by making the identifying visuals both modular

and easy to configure into widely disparate formats. By commissioning the illustrator Steve Lyons to produce

iconic spot artwork, we were able to reconfigure the artwork at will — proving to be extremely cost-effective

for Sun and sustainable for many years to come.

In hindsight, our graphic solution was so successful that we were happy to see Sun adopt this same graphic

approach to other corporate tradeshow events outside of the SUNWORLD universe.
