Sotogrande is well known as an architectural showcase on the Costa del Sol, with styles varying from the traditional Andalucian to mid century modern villas and apartments.

Sotogrande is renowned for its varied sporting facilities. It has 5 golf courses, Valderrama Golf Club, host to the European Tour’s the 1997 Ryder Cup, the Club Real de Golf, Almenara, La Reserva, La Cañada and a Golf Academy; 13 Polo fields at 3 world famous Polo Clubs; 2

CASARES - one of the most scenic and photographed white villages in Andalucia, is ideally located to offer something for everyone.

From its coastal borders, situated between Estepona and Manilva, the Casares coast offers peaceful beaches and spectacular scenery.

14km inland lies Casares village. Perched high on a hilltop, its whitewashed houses cascade down beneath the remains of a splendid Moorish castle.

This is the real Spain; a working village with rich cultural heritage, unspoilt by tourism but central enough to provide an excellent base from which to explore.

To the south-west, the region

of Casares stretches towards the wine-making town of Manilva, and the Roman Baths de la Hedionda.

The landscape opens up to

panoramic views of Gibraltar to the south, across the Rio Genal valley and the neighbouring white villages of Gaucin and Jimena de la Frontera, both of which boast a unique atmosphere of their own.

MARBELLA - Situated along the Costa del Sol, Marbella is Spain’s answer to St Tropez. This chic holiday resort is a favoured get-away among the rich and famous and it’s not hard to see why.

There’s an endless supply of world-class restaurants, luxury hotels, spectacular golf courses, fashionable shops, a lovely marina and a vast number of lively bars and clubs to keep you entertained till sunrise. Marbella may be the most famous place on the Costa del Sol.

PUERTO BANÚS - When you speak of luxury, sport, glamour, culture, commerce and above all people and a ceaseless activity, you are speaking about PUERTO BANÚS. The focal point of Puerto Banús is the marina. It has berths for 915 boats, including those of the King of Saudi Arabia and several of the world’s wealthiest individuals. Its streets are lined with expensive luxury boutiques like Christian Dior, Gucci, Bvlgari, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, and others.

MIJAS PUEBLO - One of the jewels of the Costa del Sol is the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level; it is a superb choice for either holiday or full time living. When you wander through the narrow cobbled streets of this Andalucian village,

you can understand what has attracted foreigners to settle here over the years. Mijas Pueblo has somehow managed to retain much of its traditional Andalucian way of life, the locals displaying their unabashed passion for all things festive and an unmistakable relaxed ‘mañana’ outlook on anything that can be put off for another day.

TARIFA - Ten kilometres of white sandy beaches, unspoilt countryside and some of the best windsurfing conditions in Europe have established Tarifa as a true surfers paradise. Just 11 km across the Straits of Gibraltar at its narrowest point, this southern-most tip of Europe where the Med meets

the Atlantic Ocean, enjoys spectacular views of the Rif mountains of Africa across the water.Tarifa’s wild coastline attracts surfers and nature-lovers alike. There are endless activites from Horse-riding, hang-gliding, kite-surfing, rock-climbing and diving to name but a few.

MALAGA - It is easy to understand why Malaga City is the Capital of the Costa del Sol. Malaga has innovative restaurants and stylish hotels, many featuring trendy rooftop terraces with bar, pool and stunning views. Malaga is called the ‘open museum’ due to its archaeological monuments and remains left over by the Christians, Phoenicians, Romans

and Arabs. It has a rich and long history that is reflected in the city. It has a rich and abound artistic heritage and cultural infrastructure. The opening of the Picasso Museum in 2003 triggered the city’s cultural rebirth, and visitors are now flocking to this port city.

CLIMATE - Sea breezes from the Mediterranean coastline regulates the summer heat to a more comfortable levels than the inland Andalusian towns and the Malaga Mountains form the perfect barrier to protect the city from the colder weather in winter. It can still be very hot in July and August and it can be colder (minimum of around 13 °C) between December and February. Some much needed rainfall is to be expected in the colder months, but it usually does not usually last for long.
