SUMMIT LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE ELIGIBILITY Be a registered Scouting adult leader. Have completed Wood Badge course. Complete Annual Health & Medical Record (A-D) What is SLC? Summit Leadership Challenge (SLC) focuses on practical applications of Wood Badge skills. Using outdoor experiential learning activities and real world situations gives participants the opportunity to observe and participant in team- building, problem-solving, and effectively managing challening situations. Why SLC? Giving SLC participants the chance to apply Wood Badge leadership skills to meet real world challenges increases self-confidence, self- awarness, and leadership acumen. As a result, participants will learn to be more successful and effective in their leadership roles in the unit, district, and council.
