The Saltmine

Experience

Hosted by Rachael Orrell and Jon Turner along with Saltmine Theatre Company and special guests, this promises to be an event not to be missed. Regents College is set in a beautiful location tucked amongst the Malvern Hills, with fantastic views across the valley from many rooms. Local attractions include walking the hills or visiting the spa town of Great Malvern, the Morgan Car Factory, stately homes & gardens and Three Counties Showground.

Great Malvern

All ages are catered for at SummerSalt with a strong emphasis on the creative arts whether it is in the adult programme or the parallel programme for children and youth. Creative workshops will run alongside the Theatre Company productions and you can choose from various options ranging from drama, dance and art. The college has access to 32 acres of countryside which has been awarded an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) status, allowing plenty of room for walks and reflection.

The weekend runs from 5pm on Friday

31st August until 4pm on Sunday

Facilities

In-house accommodation comprises single, double and twin en suite rooms. Some of the twin or double rooms can accommodate an extra mattress or cot to give a family room, but these are limited There are only a few rooms available for use of disabled persons Each room has linen and towels provided along with tea and coffee making facilities Camping - there is limited space on flat ground close to the main buildings with toilets and showers close by. You can choose to have meals provided by the college or to self cater. Caravanning - due to the location of the college (on a hillside) and the narrowness of the access roads - it is advised that caravans are sited at a local caravan site (details available) and guests purchase a visitors pass.

i) the college is situated on the side of a hill which may create some mobility issuesii) the college is located in the middle of West Malvern and so has a minor road running through the site
