Summer Schools Portfolio Summer 2019 About the Global Scholars scholarship

The Global Scholars scholarship enables students to participate in a summer school at one of our overseas partner universities. The scholarship covers a return air-fare as well as tuition and accommodation fees at the host university.

Where can I go? The University of Sheffield has developed summer school partnerships with a variety of European and non-European universities. Information on each of the universities is provided within this portfolio as well as on our webpages at: www.sheffield.ac.uk/summerschools/partneruniversities

When can I go? We expect students to go on a summer school in 2019. However, if you have personal

circumstances which mean you have to defer to the next academic year, these can be discussed with Global Opportunities & Exchanges

We advise students to check their availability very carefully, and their University of Sheffield degree requirements. Medicine students should pay particular attention to this.
