POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
DiscontinuationsStudents are considered registered for both fall & spring semesters unless the Boulder Ballet School office receives a written request to discontinue. If a student dis-continues instruction on or before the third class, a refund will be given for the remaining tuition. No refund will be issued after the third class except under extraordinary circumstances upon written request.
The Boulder Ballet School reserves the right to discon-tinue any student who has not adhered to school policies. In such cases, the student is still responsible for all tuition and fees due.
Refund PolicyRegular attendance is expected. All tuition is due whether or not classes are missed. Classes missed by the instruc-tor will be made up or credited to the student’s account. Prolonged absences must be reported to the Boulder Bal-let School office and the instructor. Upon completion of the Extenuating Circumstances Form (available through the office), tuition credit may be given at the discretion of the school. Registration fees are non-refundable.
School ClosingsBoulder Ballet School will close for snow days when Boulder Valley School District closes. Classes will be not be made up.

Welcome to the Boulder Ballet School, the official school of the Boulder Ballet. Under the direction of Ana Claire this program has recieved local and national recognition. We offer classes from age 3 to adult. If you do not enter the program by age 8, you will need to take a placement class. Arrangements can be made by contacting the Boulder Ballet office.
The Boulder Ballet School accepts online registration for our classes. To register, simply go to boulderballet.org and link to the registration website. If you don’t already have one, you will need to set up an account with a user name and password. There will be a one-time charge of $25 to register for the new calendar year.
You can also choose to call the office and we can help you get registered by phone. Please check the website for registration policies and procedures. We have four studios that we will use in the 2007/2008 year.

BOYS PROGRAMUnder the direction of Peter Davison, who toured in-ternationally as a member of Boulder’s famous Airjazz trio, our boys’ program has grown over the past eight years to become one of Colorado’s major training programs for the male dancer. Boyz Dance offers a multi-disciplinary experience including dance, juggling/object manipulation, rhythm and physical theater. Boys Ballet offers classical ballet training geared toward the male technique featuring turning and jumping. Our advanced male students have consistently won awards and scholarships, and have been accepted to presti-gious programs institutions such as American Ballet Theater, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Juilliard.Boyz Dance 1Ages 7-10Saturday 10:00am -11:00am DPS $210

LEVELED CLASSES I - VIIA graded curriculum. It is highly recommended that your dancer take all the classes available to her/him at their level, to ensure proper development. Levels III b through VII include a once-weekly Special Class in modern dance, character dance, and physical theater.

ADULT PROGRAMBoulder Ballet offers a number of classes for the older student. Open Adult/Teen classes are offered on a drop-in basis, no pre-registration required. Payment is by the class or by punch card. You can purchase your punchcard online or at the office. Should you select to purchase your punch-card online - you will need to bring your email confirmation to your first class. Adult Beginning Ballet classes are offered for those adults who are interested in exploring ballet and for those adults who may have had some earlier training to brush up on their skills.Drop-in $15/class10 class punch card $120.
