MET APPEARANCES Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore, the Italian Singer in Der Rosenkavalier, and the Fourth Esquire in Parsifal (debut, 2013).

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS He is a graduate of the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program and a member of the ensemble at Oper Frankfurt, where his performances have included the title roles of Werther and Roberto Devereux, the Italian Singer in Capriccio and Der Rosenkavalier, the Duke in Rigoletto, Lenski in Eugene Onegin, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Cassio in Otello, and Rodolfo in La Bohème. Recent credits include the First Lady in excerpts of Die Zauberflöte with the Los Angeles Philharmonic; Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra; the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, the title role of Tobias Picker’s Emmeline, and the soprano soloist in Philip Glass’s Hydrogen Jukebox with the Boston University Opera Institute; and the Princess in Montsalvatge’s El Gato con Botas with OperaHub.

Dan SaundersPIANIST (New York, New York)

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS He joined the Met’s music staff in 1985 and has performed with many of the world’s leading singers, including Jessye Norman, Kiri Te Kanawa, Kathleen Battle, Marilyn Horne, Tatiana Troyanos, Isabel Leonard, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Sir Thomas Allen, Nathan Gunn, and Gerald Finley, among others. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Paris’s Opéra Bastille, San Francisco Opera, London’s Wigmore Hall, and the White House, as well as at the Salzburg, Tanglewood, Ravinia, and Santa Fe Chamber Music Festivals. He has also been featured on Live from Lincoln Center, The Today Show, The Tonight Show, and The Late Show with David Letterman and can be heard on the Sony, Denon, and Newport Classics labels.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS During the 2018–19 season, he will become a member of the ensemble at Oper Frankfurt.
