• Share stories: Share a story with your child and ask them to share one with you. This is a fun way to build valuable literacy skills.

• Find words and letters around you: Invent daily word challenges. For instance, ask your child to search for words that start with the letter “s” today. Tomorrow, focus on words that start with “t.”

• Explore the outdoors: Invite your child to write down (or draw) some of the interesting discoveries they find outside. This will help build language and science skills while encouraging creativity.
