CALL FOR APPLICANTS The Summer Genetics Institute (SGI), sponsored by the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), is a one month, intensive program of classroom and laboratory instruction in genetics that provides a foundation for biobehavioral research and clinical practice. The SGI is provided by NINR at no cost to program attendees. Attendees are responsible for housing, food, and transportation expenses incurred during program participation. The application period is typically from mid-November to early March each year, and the NINR SGI takes place annually in June.
