People were bringing little children to Jesus to have Him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. Young-At-Heart LuncheonIf you are Young-At-Heart, love to gather with friends, have a wonderful home-cooked meal, and listen to God’s Word; then this is the event for you. Each month the Young-At-Hearts gather for a luncheon. Each person is asked to bring a dish or dessert to share on Tuesday, June 7th at 12pm.

Children’s Wild Adventure TripThe Children’s Ministry will be taking a day trip to Wild Adventures on June 25th. All children 5th grade and younger are invited to attend. An adult chaperone must accompany any child under 3rd grade. Chaperones are needed for this event. The cost of this trip is $30, plus the cost of meals. Children should bring a swimsuit, dry clothes, a towel, and money for ticket, meals, and spending.

Youth Culture 101: Living with Teens This is an awesome parent resource. A monthly meeting to help parents as they disciple & live with their teens. We will meet one Sunday a month immediately following morning services. Lunch will be provided! Together we will attempt to "bridge the cultural-generational gap between parents and teenagers." We can best minister to our students if we understand youth culture!! We will meet June 12th, July 17th, and Aug. 21st.

Upcoming Youth EventsYouth MAC

All students in grades 6th-12th are invited to attend weekly Meetings After Church every Sunday night during the summer except June 19th, July 10th, and July 31st. The first two Meetings After Church are on Sun., May 29th (Home of Rusty and Lynn Dubberly) and June 5th(Home of Larry and Pam Smith). These meetings are a time of fun and fellowship with dinner and a pool party. There is no monetary cost but all students who wish to attend these Youth MAC’s must regularly attend a Sunday night Discipleship Group from 5:30-6pm and evening worship. Transportation to the homes will be provided. The end time for these events is around 9pm.

Wild Adventures TripAll students in grades 6th – 12th are invited to attend a day trip to Wild Adventures on Sat., June 4th. We will depart from the church parking lot at 9am. The return time is after dinner Sat.

Middle School Atlanta Braves TripAll students in grades 6th-8th are invited to an Atlanta Braves game on Fri., June 17th. We will depart from the church parking lot at 1pm. The return time will be very late Fri. night (we will let you know ASAP). The cost of this trip is $10 (includes ticket and dinner). Bring money for snacks. The deadline to sign-up for this trip is Sun., June 12th.

Tornado Disaster ReliefWith the recent disaster in the SE due to the severe storms, we have partnered with FBC Baxley to 2 churches in Rainsville, AL. Supplies are needed (bring to FBC-Fellowship Hall) and there are 2 work trips planned for May 27-30 & June 9-12.
