Goin' GreenJune 14th - 17th

We're goin' green at camp thissummer! Help take care of our gardens with

a Master Gardener. Explore the world ofpollinators and decomposers, learn how

we're being eco-friendly at the Museum, andhelp create homes for our creepy crawly

friends. You'll be making a big impact withthis camp!

Padawan TrainingJune 21st - 24th

Have fun you will at Padawan Training atCMofIL. Not only will we tour imaginaryworlds and technologies of the GalacticEmpire, but we will also investigate our

galaxy. Learn about the robotics andtechnology used today to travel to distant

planets. We are even going to participate ina nationwide NASA design challenge!

Art-ology June 28th - July 1st

It doesn't seem like art and science meshwell, but they do at CMofIL! Investigate

plants, animals, and outer space for artfulpatterns and colors. Mix and create paint,

chalk, and play dough to create artful pieces. And finally, use chemistry and physics tomake explosive and messy masterpieces.

Brilliant BuildersJuly 5th - 8th

($160 / $150 for members)Are you a maker? Do you like to tinker, takeapart, and build? We're going to participate

in a NASA design challenge, build outsidewith "messy materials", and learn about

circuits and robotics. You'll even go homewith a littleBits starter kit to continue

learning at home!

Science ExplorersJuly 12th - 15th

Are you ready to dive into science? Thisweek is all about hands-on exploration.

We'll learn about the states of matter in atasty way, mix ingredients and create a

fizzing mess, drop things from the balconiesto learn about gravity, investigate strange

plants and animals and much more!

Summer SafariJuly 19th - 22nd

It's a fascinating world, and we're going totour it! Learn about animals living on both ofthe poles, study the unique creatures of therainforest, and dive into the deep ocean to

explore life beneath the waves. Explore whatdifferent creatures eat, how they play, and

where they live during this wild week ofcamp!

Songwriting 101($125 / $115 for members)

July 26th - 29thSpend the week with local musicians, Zach and Michael and learn what it

takes to write a song! We’ll explore lyrics, melodies, instruments, andperformance during this jam packed week of hands-on learning. We’ll

even help write a song for CMofIL, record parts of it, AND perform it atKidstock 2016! You’re going to be a star!

among the stars. Did you know that our sunis a star? Learn about it and other twinkling

stars on Wednesday. Friday we will learnabout Earth as well as the other distant

planets on our galaxy.

Friday, July 15th - Crazy ChemistryDo you have a lot of questions and big ideas? Are you a science kid? Join us Wednesday to

learn how germs can make us sick. Fridaywe're going to grab our safety goggles and get

crazy with chemistry experiments. We'regoing to learn just like our friend Sid!

Mess-terpieceWednesday, June 29th - ColorsFriday, July 1st - Explosive Art

Time to create! On Wednesday we will getsuper colorful with large scale and messy art! Friday we're mixing science with art to make

messy masterpieces. Play with art in acompletely new way!

When I Grow UpWednesday, July 20th - Science

Friday, July 22nd - Art / Community"No job's too big! No pup's... err, kid's too

small!" Learn about the jobs that yourfavorite puppy helpers do! On Wednesday

we will work like Rubble the Bulldog andbuild tall towers. Friday will be all about our

friend Chase and how he andpolice officers keep the community safe.
