Sponsored by: Devar Emet Messianic Jewish Outreach focuses on meeting the spiritual needs of Jewish young adults, teens, and children, first through our own personal active outreach and mentoring, then through developing our expertise into programs and materials made available for others to use. July 31 th - August 7 th Summer Aliyah 2016 HaDerekh Youth is a division of Devar Emet Messianic Jewish Outreach (DEMJO) The program’s purpose is to reach out to teens in the Jewish community as well as to provide spiritual mentoring for Messianic Jewish youth in order to grow faith in Yeshua as Messiah and encourage Jewish identity. Currently, HaDerekh Youth sponsors three annual programs — the Winter Aliyah, Israel Aliyah and Camp HaDerekh. The Hebrew term “Aliyah” means “To Go Up”. In the Scriptures we often see individuals take time to go up to meet G-d for periods of rest, instruc- tion, and preparation. In the same way, we intend our Aliyot to be times of spiritual renewal and preparation for Jewish teens, so when they return to their congregations and communities, they are more prepared to live out their faith in Messiah Yeshua with passion and effectiveness. The word HaDerekh, “The Way”, comes from John 14:6 where Messiah Yeshua declares himself to be the only right path to a right relationship with G-d. We believe this to be Truth, and offer our programs as a means to encourage this belief! 7800 Niles Ave Skokie, IL 60077 (847) 674-9146 [email protected] Follow us on Facebook! www.haderekhyouth.com 2016Camp_HaDerekh_Trifold_8.5 x 11.indd 1 1/31/2016 11:43:40 PM
