Over the past several months Fidelity Bank & Trust has been engaged in changing our core processing system and some of the integrated bank products that go with this such as Mobile Banking, Online Banking and Cash Management to name a few. This is because over the years we have outgrown our processing system. With the earlier system, we did our own in-house processing and continually integrated various products to keep up with current technology and needs of our customers. After a certain point, you just need to decide if you can continue with business as usual, or completely change to better serve our growing customer base. The decision to improve was made prior to our recent purchase of State Bank of New Hampton. As of April 29, we converted to the Jack Henry SilverLake core processing system. We know the changes will take a little getting used to but shortly you will see more of the wonderful benefits with enhanced product lines and services. Our great staff is well prepared to help you with any issues you have so please do not be afraid to call.

How can it be summer already! This girl has had a very busy spring. We just came back from our incredible trip to Gettysburg and Washington D.C. This trip will always be one of my favorites in the continental U.S. Our tour guide on this trip was phenomenal. She made sure we saw the best of everything. As we arrived at Arlington a bus behind us pulled up with an Honor Flight from California. We gave them a warm welcome as they strolled by. Then, watching four of our guys lay a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier was so touching. I was especially glad that my brother Jerry, a Viet Nam veteran, was one of them. It certainly brought tears to my eyes and so many others. It was a very impressive ceremony.

Two days after we came home it was moving day for me. It was a short move across town, but the work is all the same. I am loving my new home, and as I type this letter it has just been five days and I am nearly settled…with a lot of help from family and friends of course. I love my new friendly neighborhood, but will always miss the old one. Just another thing good about smaller cities, you always see people around.

I was on the award-winning Riviera ship this spring, and it is upscale cruising at its best with world-class cuisine and amenities.
