Bus2alps began in winter 2003. A series of train strikes prevented students from getting to their ski weekend in Interlaken, Switzerland. We decided to rent a coach bus, offer transportation to friends, and the idea took off from there!

We began organizing trips to other destinations like the Amalfi Coast in the warmer months and Oktoberfest, a Eurotrip must. Bus2alps has continued to grow and expand and today, we've carried over 150,000 passengers.

The easiest, most affordable way to travel is to hop on one of our bus trips. These include roundtrip transportation by coach bus with DVD, AC, and bathroom, in addition to accommodation. We provide door-to-door service and take care of all the logistics so your trip is completely hassle-free. Buses depart from the main train station in the city center, and you will receive specific meeting point and departure details several days prior to your trip. With this option, all you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

If you do not reside in one of our departure cities or your desired destination cannot be reached by bus, book the MEET US THERE option. These trips include everything our bus trips do with the exception of round-trip transportation. Travelers choosing this option meet the group and trip leader directly at the accommodation or the airport as specified.

Head south to experience one of the world's top beach destinations, a must-see while in Italy! Sail around the island of Capri on a private boat stopping by the famous grottos before exploring the best of the island and cooling down with some fresh limoncello. Design a custom pair of handmade sandals before riding the chairlift to the top of the island for a panoramic view of the Bay of Naples! Dance the night away in downtown Sorrento.

Spend the next day cruising the coastline on an included boat tour with lunch and a bar on board. End at the famous cliffside town of Positano where you'll have the afternoon to bronze on the black sand beach and float in the emerald sea. Before heading home, explore the impressive ruins of the lost civilization of Pompeii.

Home of Bus2alps and the adventure capital of Europe, Interlaken offers a perfect combination of adrenaline and relaxation. Spend your day skydiving over the Swiss Alps, whitewater rafting, canyoning rushing waters, or hiking on some of the world's best trails.

What better way to spend a weekend than by crossing three cities and two countries off your list? Start by relaxing in Budapest's outdoor thermal baths in the city known for its naturally warm spring waters. When the sun sets, dine while cruising past the glowing monuments on the banks of the Danube River, then check out the local ruin bar scene.

Next, head west to Vienna to indulge in the mother of all chocolate cakes, Sachertorte. Marvel at the palaces of the Habsburg Empire and feast on Wiener Schnitzel, an Austrian delicacy.

All Inclusive Package: Escape the city heat and head to the coast for some fresh air. Known for the brightly colored houses perched on plunging cliffs, the gorgeous towns nestled along the Italian Riviera will take your breath away. If you're feeling like a workout, lace up your sneakers to hike along the coastline (you can skip the hike, and head straight to the beach if desired).

Stop to take pictures that will break insta-records before cooling off with a quick dip in the Ligurian Sea.
