SUMMER PARK PROGRAM
At Ingleside Park
OPENING DAY Monday, July 2, 2018
Discounted Registration Fee $335.00 Per Child
If Registered by Wednesday, June 27, 2018
Regular fee of $360.00 applies to all registrations after June 27th.
If registering online by June 27th, the discount will be applied after you enter your credit card information.
($30 sibling discount available after one child paid in full -must be done at
Recreation Office or over the phone with us 617-846-8243)
The Park will be staffed Monday - Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm.
Please present a copy of participant’s birth certificate at registration if he/she has not been part of the park program in the past.

Monday through Friday program features crafts,
games, sports, and special events - See Calendar
Sport & game opportunities will include tennis,
basketball, soccer, street hockey, stick ball, dodge
ball, four square, capture the flag and many more.
Special Events include theme days such as slush day,
pizza day, fun with water days, obstacle day, foam
day, town day, and field trips (at an added cost) and
many more.

Summer Super Sports Sponsored by Be Ahead of the Game, LLC
Summer Super Sports will concentrate on introducing a variety of
sports and the basic skills needed to play these sports. Cooperation and
teamwork will be the focus, rather than the competition of the
games. Campers will learn proper warm-ups, games and stretching before
introducing new sports, their rules and tactics. A wide variety of sports
and games will be covered all while having fun! Traditional backyard/
playground games such as kickball, basketball, capture the flag will be
played as well as other fun games from around the world. Children should
wear sneakers and dress in comfortable clothing.

With 35 seasons and counting, Survivor has created some of the greatest challenges on television. Manipulating the most famous Survivor challenges, participants will work to outwit, outplay and outlast teams through mental, physical and creative tasks. Working in groups, pairs and individuals, participants will be presented with their very own season of Survivor.

The goal of the recreation department is to provide affordable, self-sustaining programs that offer
participants a variety of opportunities for passive and active recreation. Through play, education, and
community-wide special events we grow as individuals and as a community.
Extended Day Summer Program For Kids!
Extended Day Summer Program runs from
Monday, June 25th - Thursday, August 30th
Program is Open to Children in Kindergarten thru Grade 6 (fall)
Monday thru Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm Closed Wednesday, July 4th
This summer children will be able to enjoy all the fun activities offered by the morning Summer Park Program and then continue the fun with
the Extended Day Counselors throughout the afternoon. All
Children wishing to participate in
extended day must first be registered for
the park program. Then it is $30 a day for the extended day program. Choose your days and/or weeks. The Extended Day Summer Program is a unique opportunity for your child to experience all that Parks and Recreation has to offer. Children who participate in this program can take advantage of our Special Events, Sports, Arts and Crafts, Music and Games in the Park Program and then enjoy local Field
Trips to parks, beaches, etc. in the afternoon.
Children must bring their lunch; Snacks and Drinks will be provided.
Please come to the Registration Office to register for this program.
You may download the summer packet from our website at:
www.winthroprec.com and have it filled out before you come in to
register.

Junior Recreation Ages 3-5
5 Weeks Summer Program NEW
Here’s a little help in keeping your kids, healthy,
active and engaged this summer.
Knucklebones’ Athletics incorporates classic favorites as well as our
own outside the box games. Using a bunch of equipment, your child will
enjoy new games & activities focused on physical activity, game play,
sportsmanship and fun! From scooter boards to parachute, Plasma Car
races to Messy Backyard and Build n’ Balance. Everyone will be laughing,
moving and having a blast! Proper clothing and sneakers are required.
