The Episcopal Diocese of Maine and Camp Bishopswood invite you to join us for our first-ever Summer Finale Camp. Everyone is welcome! Come and experience a wonderful, meaningful time in this camp community. At Bishopswood you have the opportunity to unplug, relax, grow, play and enjoy life in God’s creation.
Bishopswood is nestled in the woods on the shores of Lake Megunticook in Hope Maine, 5 miles from Camden. It is one of the most beautiful places to experience a week of Maine summer.
The delicious home-cooked meals are made with many ingredients harvested in August from local farms.
Whether you are hoping to relax by the lake, enjoy active recreation, explore spirituality or have fun meeting new people—this week is for you. Enjoy activities facilitated by the Bishopswood staff which include:

Sample Daily Schedule
Kids who have completed grades 6-12 are invited to the Youth Events Camp which takes place at Camp Bishopswood during Summer Finale Week. There’ll be lots of kids from all around the state and beyond. The middle and high schoolers will live in a cluster of cabins led by camp counselors. If you liked BION Camp or any of the Youth Event weekends you’ll like this new longer camp week. It will be similar to BION Camp. But the strength and size of the Summer Finale Week will enable us to offer more fun opportunities and a longer week. 11th and 12th graders can either be regular campers or apply for LLS (Leadership, Learning and Service) which begins Sunday, the day before camp. Financial aid is available so that no teen needs to be excluded because of inability to pay. Register at maineyouth.org.
* Kids under 5 are free.
