What two words best describe Atlanta today? Fragmented Awesomeness. World class people & companies disconnected from each other.
![Page 3: Summary of Our First Six Months](https://reader034.fdocuments.in/reader034/viewer/2022052523/5550d3ebb4c905f2318b4fc4/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)
Density is Destiny. Density leads to serendipity.
Serendipity gives people more chances to collaborate and build trust with each other.
Trusted relationships are what every strong innovative community is built upon.
Change your density, change your destiny.

What started as a collaboration space in April 2012 has grown into a groundswell of people committed to fueling the next great wave of companies. By the beginning of 2013, this movement needed an organizational structure to help drive greater awareness, diverse collaboration, and peer-to-peer education. Thus, Hypepotamus, Inc., was born. Today, we produce relevant media content, organize compelling events, and provide free access to a collaboration space in The Biltmore.

Cash Flow for the First Six MonthsWith the generosity and support of a wide variety of people and organizations, this bootstrapped operation fueled six months of Connected Awesomeness this way:

Hypepotamus is a central catalyst that brings the Atlanta startup community together.David Cummings, Atlanta Tech Ventures
Hypepotamus is a great facilitator of serendipity, making desirable discoveries by accident. Every ʻchanceʼ encounter I have there results in interesting and meaningful possibilities. They understand the science behind making these encounters productive
John Avery, Panasonic Innovation Center
Because I believe Hypepotamus is one of the most important parts of the Atlanta startup ecosystem. And I think their mission and plan to get more college students involved with startups is one of the best I've seen in a while.
TJ Muehleman, We&Co

Atlanta's community lacks founder focus. In my opinion, this creates a classic hierarchy where few people with money help the select few they deem worthy. Atlanta's model is broken. There must be a bottom-up approach that contextually helps and nurtures all founders at very little to no cost.
By helping, educating, and connecting the masses of founders, an ecosystem of true collaboration is created. With volume, the probability of success increases. Hypepotamus is the only organization in Atlanta that understands density creates destiny. They deserve much credit for getting the model right and producing a bottom-up ecosystem where all founders benefit.
