Project Description:Ford Motor Company is a leading automobile industry. In this assignment I am working in PS&L (Parts Supply and Logistics) area of Ford IT. Here I worked in several projects out of which major are the globalization of HVBOM (Historical Vehicle Bill of Material) and PCII (Part control II).

Contribution: Worked on all phases of software development life cycle from Estimation till post production

support. Worked in projects to make two applications (HVBoM and PCII) global. Completed 7.5 million dollar mainframe program in Agile successfully. Took a leadership role and mentored 4 new resources to form a team to finish the program. Learnt a new technology (IMS DC) and completed a 6 month project without any defect. Completed “Auto 101 Certified Professional (ACP)” Certification on Manufacturing Domain. Coordinated and completed Compuware tools to IBM tools conversion process at FORD for all

applications under PS&L portfolio. Provided technical training on endeavour tool to entire team including AD and support. Acted as a lead within the application for the change man to endeavour tool migration. Automated 3 process to make the IT tasks simpler.

Project Description:Target Corporation is a general merchandise retailer in the USA. I worked in DFD (Dedicated Food Distribution) which deals with Orders, Withdrawals, Replenishment, Forecast calculation, Inventory tracking etc. I worked in several projects and provided business solutions to the customer.

Contribution: Communicated effectively with the onsite coordinators to gather business requirements. Mentored fresher in the team efficiently and made them productive within few weeks. Delivered all projects in time with high quality. Got appreciations and 1000 TCS Gems for completing a complex project. Other than my regular project work, I identified and fixed 2 major production issues and fetched

2 different projects from Target. A widely used date routine that was about to impact TARGET business on 1st January 2011.

I identified this business loss in advance and provided the solution which eliminated the risk and gave a project to TCS.

Identified in advance one critical Distribution center array overflow which would stop a particular DC to ship items to multiple stores. Provided a permanent solution to fix this and target account got a medium project to fix this.
